• To improve the quality of diagnosis, treatment, palliative care, prevention and research to cancer and cancer patients particularly in Eastern Zone.
• To educate and train person involved in clinical cancer care and research by mutual co-operation.
• To create awareness about cancer to cancer patients and the public.
• To facilitate access to optimal cancer care to all cancer patients in Eastern Zone.
• To maintain liaisons with other allied specialties, Government agencies, NGOs Patient group, Reputed organization working in the field of cancer care and where appropriate the pharmaceutical industry.
